Parkin to Launch Five Automated Multi-Storey Parking Garages in Dubai

Parkin has announced plans to build five fully automated multi-storey car parks across Dubai within the next two years. Revealed at Gitex Global 2025, the new facilities will feature EV charging and seamless payment systems to enhance the parking experience in high-traffic business districts.

Dubai’s public parking operator, Parkin, has announced plans to construct five new multi-storey car parks across the city within the next two years. The announcement, made at Gitex Global 2025, details facilities that will feature fully automated systems, integrated EV charging points, and seamless payment technology.

Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali, CEO of Parkin, stated that the new structures will be strategically located in high-traffic business districts to address the growing demand for structured parking. “The aim is to make the parking experience completely seamless,” he said. “We want people to be able to park, pay and leave without barriers, paper tickets or manual interference.”

This development aligns with Parkin’s goal to transition all off-street and multi-storey parking in Dubai to a fully cashless, open-flow model by the end of 2025. Customers will use linked digital wallets or the Parkin app, which accommodates individual, family, and large corporate fleet accounts, for automatic payments.

The company is also investing heavily in advanced technologies, including AI-based inspection systems and unified digital platforms that are fully integrated with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). This focus on technology is part of a wider city-wide effort, similar to the RTA’s 28 modernization initiatives aimed at enhancing Dubai’s transport infrastructure. “Our systems are integrated 24/7. Nearly 93 per cent of customer calls are now resolved immediately without escalation,” Al Ali added.

Parkin’s dynamic pricing model, introduced in April, has already shown positive results, with the company reporting a nine per cent improvement in traffic flow in high-demand areas. The tariff, which applies during peak hours from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., is designed to encourage vehicle rotation in busy commercial zones, such as areas seeing new developments like the Palm Jumeirah business centre.

“Our role is not to make life difficult for people. We are here to manage parking efficiently, maintain fairness and improve the quality of life in the city.”

The company continues to expand its partnerships with private developers and government bodies to create a standardised and efficient parking experience across Dubai’s malls, mosques, and mixed-use communities. “Dubai’s parking network is part of its mobility infrastructure,” Al Ali concluded. “As the city grows, our goal is to keep that experience simple, smart and accessible to everyone.”
