UAE President Reviews New Al Jazira Club Stadium Design with 30,000 Capacity

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has reviewed the design and master plan for the new Al Jazira Club Stadium in Zayed City. The state-of-the-art venue will feature a 24,000-seat capacity, expandable to 30,000, with construction set to begin in 2026 under the supervision of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The ambitious sports facility represents a significant advancement for UAE’s sporting infrastructure, with completion expected within three years after groundbreaking.

The stadium will boast several cutting-edge features, including fully air-conditioned seating areas and an innovative retractable pitch system that can slide out of the main arena. Spectators will also enjoy dedicated hospitality services throughout the venue.

Versatile Facilities for Year-Round Use

Beyond sporting events, the new Al Jazira Club Stadium has been designed as a multipurpose venue capable of hosting various public gatherings and celebrations throughout the year. The facility will include restaurants and lounges that will remain accessible to the public even when no events are scheduled.

The project aligns with the UAE’s vision to develop world-class sports infrastructure that enhances quality of life, empowers youth, and creates new opportunities for excellence and innovation, while positioning the sports sector as a key driver of national development.
