Julith Cafe Dubai: World's Most Expensive Coffee at Dhs3,600 per Cup

Located in an industrial neighbourhood that has become a hub for coffee enthusiasts, Julith cafe is set to serve approximately 400 cups of the luxury beverage starting this Saturday, November 1, 2025. The cafe’s co-founder, Serkan Sagsoz, stated that Dubai proved to be the ideal location for this premium investment.

A Premium Tasting Experience

The coffee offers an intricate flavor profile combining floral and fruity notes reminiscent of tea. “There are white floral notes like jasmine, citrus flavours like orange and bergamot and a hint of apricot and peach,” Sagsoz explained. “It’s like honey, delicate and sweet.” The beans are grown on a plantation near Panama’s Baru volcano and were acquired after a highly competitive auction involving hundreds of bids.

Sagsoz, who previously operated a cafe in his native Turkey, emphasised the cafe’s commitment to exclusivity, revealing that only a limited quantity of the beans will be made available to customers.

Dubai’s Escalating Coffee Records

This achievement marks a significant milestone in Dubai’s luxury lifestyle landscape. Last month, Dubai notched a Guinness record for the world’s most expensive cup of coffee when Roasters offered one for Dhs2,500. Julith’s offering surpasses that milestone by more than Dhs1,000 per cup.

The cafe has attracted considerable international interest, with Asian buyers, Emirati coffee enthusiasts, and coffee bean collectors reaching out following the announcement. However, the establishment has made clear it does not intend to share its treasure beyond the carefully allocated small amount available for sale.

The premium positioning reflects Dubai’s continued appeal as a destination for ultra-luxury experiences and the emirate’s ability to attract rare, high-value commodities and entrepreneurial ventures seeking global prominence.
