Dubai Police has added three cutting-edge Mercedes-Benz patrol vehicles to its fleet, marking a significant upgrade in technological and sustainable transportation during World Tourism Day celebrations.
Dubai Police, through its Tourism Police Department, has introduced three state-of-the-art Mercedes-Benz vehicles to enhance security and service at key tourist destinations. The fleet expansion was announced during the World Tourism Day celebration on September 27, 2025.
New Patrol Vehicles
The newly acquired vehicles include:
• Mercedes SL 55 AMG
• Mercedes GT 63 AMG
• Mercedes EQS 580 (electric model)
Each vehicle is equipped with advanced mechanical, technical, and artificial intelligence features, including interactive displays that provide real-time information to ensure professional performance.
Strategic Partnership
Brigadier Saeed Al Hajri, Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation, highlighted the strategic cooperation with Gargash Enterprises, the official Mercedes-Benz dealer. He emphasized that these vehicles will strengthen police presence in prominent tourist areas like Burj Khalifa, Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, and JBR.
“These new patrols will not only enhance safety across tourist hotspots but also allow officers to provide comprehensive services to the public and visitors,” Brigadier Al Hajri stated.
Mr. Thomas Schulz, General Manager of Mercedes-Benz Cars, expressed pride in the partnership, noting that the collaboration “highlights the depth of partnership in pioneering sustainable and modern mobility solutions.”
