Dubai Crown Prince Commends Civil Defense Team's Advanced Firefighting Capabilities

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed commended Dubai Civil Defense for their exceptional performance in recent firefighting operations, highlighting the team’s advanced skills and cutting-edge equipment.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, met with the Dubai Civil Defense team, led by Lieutenant General Expert Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi, to discuss recent emergency response achievements.

During the meeting, His Highness specifically commended the team’s recent deployment of ‘Shaheen’ drones, which demonstrated remarkable technological innovation in firefighting. These advanced drones can tackle fires in high-rise buildings up to 200 metres tall and are equipped with a 1,200-litre tank for water and firefighting foam.

“The team’s readiness and skill in operating sophisticated equipment reflect Dubai’s continuous pursuit of excellence,” Sheikh Hamdan noted.

Lieutenant General Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi expressed gratitude for the leadership’s ongoing support, reaffirming the Civil Defense team’s commitment to skill development and equipment modernization.

This meeting underscores Dubai’s proactive approach to emergency preparedness and technological innovation in public safety.
