Too Many Impressions

Dubai is equally suitable for a family holiday, a romantic getaway, or a fun trip with friends. Even solo travelers will not be disappointed by this destination, as there is always something to do in the shining city of skyscrapers. Business and cultural events are regularly held here, fashion shows and gastronomic festivals are also a big part of the city life, concerts of world-famous stars and sports competitions – something that cannot disappoint each traveler. It’s no surprise that TripAdvisor named Dubai the world’s top travel destination for the third year in a row.

Dubai Airport is one of the busiest in the world: planes fly from here to different parts of the globe.

Interesting fact: two-thirds of the planet’s population lives within an eight-hour flight distance of Dubai.

It is very convenient to make a short stop here, which will allow you to relax before your next flight and get to know the main attractions. Their dense concentration and transport accessibility make it possible to explore the main places of the city even in a day.

Pearls of Dubai

Dubai is a city that loves to surprise with records. It is home to the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, and the largest shopping center, the Dubai Mall.

The Burj Khalifa, which soars 828 meters into the air, is one of the main symbols of the UAE. This is one of the most desirable attractions for tourists: from the two-level observation deck on the 124th–125th floors, the city can be seen at a glance, and on the 148th floor, one of the highest observation decks in the world awaits guests.

Next to the legendary skyscraper, there are famous fountains which, in the evenings, delight every half hour with a colorful show accompanied by music. You can also get a bird’s eye view of the city from the world’s highest infinity pool, AURA Skypool, located on the 50th floor of the Nakheel Palm Tower Hotel. From here you have a breathtaking view of the Palm Jumeirah island, the Burj Al Arab skyscraper, and the Ain Dubai Ferris wheel.

Dubai Mall is suitable for shopping for any budget because the world’s leading brands are represented here: from affordable to luxury. Some boutiques are unique. For example, the Zara store has a one-of-a-kind cafe where you can relax between purchases.

New entertainment appears in Dubai every year. For example, in 2022, the Museum of the Future opened its doors, which has already become one of the most visited places in the metropolis. It is located in an unusual building, the facade of which is decorated with lines from a poem about the future written by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

A Piece of Living Nature

Nature lovers will also enjoy Dubai. You can go to Hatta, a mountainous region 130 km from Dubai, where tourists are offered to ride bicycles, try ziplining, take a horse riding lesson, or take part in collecting honey in an apiary. Popular winter activities include kayaking, hiking, and sunset picnics. Hatta has several restaurants that specialize in Arabic cuisine, and overnight accommodations are available at the Hatta Sedr Trailer Park, Hatta Dome Park, and Hatta Damani Lodges.

Another interesting option is the desert jeep safari from Platinum Heritage. You can combine a jeep ride through the dunes with a traditional Bedouin dinner under the stars. You will also watch falconry and admire the colorful fire show.

In Search of Extreme Sensations

If you have long dreamed of conquering the air, then Dubai is a perfect place to try skydiving. You can “dive”, accompanied by an experienced instructor, over the desert or the famous Palm Jumeirah. You will find impressive views, vivid emotions, and excellent shots. A less extreme option is a hot air balloon flight: you can see an unforgettable sunrise in the desert, with a falcon in the basket for company.

Eastern Fairytale

Dubai allows travelers to immerse themselves in an oriental tale and enjoy traditional hospitality. Local hotels and restaurants will find something to surprise even the most discerning travelers.

For example, you can stay in the legendary sail building – the Burj Al Arab Hotel: real gold was used to decorate the interior.

Every month, new restaurant projects open in Dubai, which are regularly recognized by leading restaurant critics and authoritative guides, including Michelin. Among the projects where you should book a table are Avatara, 11 Woodfire, Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, and Ossiano.

Dubai is amazing in its diversity: here you can spend an exciting holiday or a busy weekend, have fun with friends, or watch a sunset in solitude in the middle of the desert.
