Dubai Fountain Dazzles Again: Iconic Attraction Returns with Spectacular Comeback

After five months of renovation, the world’s largest choreographed fountain has reopened at Burj Lake, bringing back its mesmerizing water, light, and music show to the heart of Downtown Dubai.

Dubai’s most iconic water attraction, the Dubai Fountain, made a triumphant return on October 1st, 2025, rekindling the magic that has captivated millions since its debut in 2009. As the sun set and the clock struck 6:30 pm, powerful water jets erupted in perfect synchronization with music, illuminating the Burj Lake against the breathtaking backdrop of the Burj Khalifa.

Developed by Emaar, the fountain spans an impressive 30-acre lake, with water jets capable of reaching heights up to 140 metres. The recent renovation introduced several upgrades, including a new floor with glowing blue tiles and enhanced infrastructure to make the performances even more seamless.

Renovation Highlights

  • New floor with brilliant blue tiles
  • Upgraded production and infrastructure
  • Enhanced water jet and lighting synchronization

The fountain offers daily performances from 6 pm to 11 pm, with additional afternoon shows at 1 pm and 1:30 pm (Saturday to Thursday) and 2 pm and 2:30 pm on Fridays. Visitors can enjoy the spectacle from various vantage points, including the Dubai Fountain Boardwalk, nearby cafes, and even a traditional abra ride across Burj Lake.

“The Dubai Fountain remains one of the city’s top free attractions and a must-see for any visitor,” said a representative from Emaar.

Created by Wet Design, the same team behind Las Vegas’ Bellagio Fountains, the Dubai Fountain continues to be a testament to the city’s commitment to creating extraordinary experiences.
