The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has reported a developing low-pressure system in the northern Arabian Sea that is expected to intensify into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has announced the formation of a low-pressure system over the northern Arabian Sea near the Indian coasts. According to the centre’s latest report, numerical models indicate that this system is likely to deepen into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

The system is projected to move west-southwest towards the central Arabian Sea. However, the NCM has confirmed that there is currently no impact expected for the United Arab Emirates.

The meteorological centre also noted that the accuracy of information regarding the system’s intensity and track will become clearer once its formation is complete. Residents and authorities are advised to stay updated with future announcements.
