The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs received the credentials of Ghana’s new ambassador, Omar Ubaid Al Hosn Al Shamsi, highlighting the strong bilateral relations between the two nations.
On Monday, 29 September 2025, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs received the credentials of Hamed Rashid Tundi, the new Ambassador of Ghana to the United Arab Emirates, in an official ceremony.
During the ceremony, Omar Ubaid Al Hosn Al Shamsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, welcomed the new Ambassador. He extended best wishes for success in his diplomatic mission and emphasized the UAE’s commitment to strengthening and developing cooperation with Ghana across various sectors.
Ambassador Hamed Rashid Tundi expressed his pride in representing his country in the UAE, praising the leading regional and international position of the state under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE.
