The Palm Jumeirah Monorail in Dubai

This railway was opened on April 30, 2009, and since that day tourists have been using it every day to explore the island. As already mentioned, you simply cannot walk through them and therefore you need a means of transport. The Palm Jumeirah Monorail is ideal for this and in a few minutes, you have driven everything and can also take great photos. Furthermore, a trip is also very impressive as it leads past dreamlike luxury villas. The view of the luxury hotel Atlantis The Palm is certainly a highlight of the ride. Many vacationers would certainly like to spend the night there. Because this is one of the best hotels in all of Dubai. Incidentally, the route length is 5.45 kilometers and the structure is very similar to that of the Dubai Metro. Once you’ve ridden it, you’ll get to know it very quickly.

Stops

Palm Jumeirah Monorail Atlantis Aquaventure Station

Currently, there are only a few stops on the Palm Jumeirah Monorail where you can hop on or off. But this will change in the future and you can, for example, get off at Nakheel Mall Station and visit the mall. Currently, there is the possibility to drive from the Atlantis Aquaventure Station to the Gateway Station. With a speed of 28 km/h, you can get there quickly. However, you then have to change again to another train which then drives back to the Atlantis Hotel. It will certainly be very useful for the residents of the island if there are several steps that can then be used. There will also be a direct connection to the Dubai Metro where you can then continue with this. Up to 40,000 passengers use this means of transport every day.

Schedule

Before setting off, you should also find out about the travel times. You can ride the Palm Jumeirah Monorail from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. The trains run every 15 to 20 minutes and you don’t have to wait long. As with the metro, there is also plenty of seating. A good tip is not to drive at the weekend. Because there are significantly more visitors who want to ride. If you want it to be a little quieter, you should rather drive during the week. Then there are not so many tourists and you can take a closer look at everything.
